This blog will be used as a medium to channel my knowledge/love/passion for the worlds oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverage.
There is going to be a little bit of everything here at Ales to Lagers. Geared toward homebrewers and beer aficionados alike we'll go everywhere from hop of the week, to beer reviews, beer history, projects, and pretty much anything you could associate with the wonderful world of beer.
Grant: Great topic. I have had many conversations with people who tell me all of the "misnomers" about beer. Lagers are always light in color, ales are always higher in alcohol, the more hops you add, the more alcoholic the beer, bocks are made with ingredients "from the bottom of the barrel"...
